A few years ago, I was approached by a colorful couple creating a book on manifestation. They were interested in my story; how I’d been a little prodigy, ached to sing, and found my voice. I wrote a chapter for their book in my own writing voice. I then checked in with a dear friend – a book editor. After hours and hours, we gave my writing a more traditional flow. I sent the edited version to the couple in case they’d prefer more polish.

Live and learn. What a lovely dance of mirrors. I guess my writing voice also works best when I just choose to believe in it.
